CDR believes that parents are best able to choose and evaluate child care for their children because parents know their children’s needs. CDR encourages parents to become informed and to act on their knowledge and feelings as they select among these possibilities. A CDR referral does not imply a recommendation, and we urge parent to carefully interview and check references before leaving a child in care. All information received from an individual is confidential. Referral services are available to all persons requesting assistance regardless of income level or other eligibility requirements.
