ACCOUNTANT: $19.78 - $24.93/hr. 40hrs/wk.
Assist w/designing, generating and preparing of a variety of complex financial statements and report analysis. Prepare monthly and other financial statistical reports. Prepare, record, and book general ledger entries through trial balance; other related accounting duties. REQUIRES: Min AA in Accounting, Statistics or Business. Min 3 yrs exp in a highly responsible position involving general accounting including preparation, recording and booking of general ledger entries, data collection, organization and analysis in a large corporate environment. Requires Excel, Word, and automated double entry accounting system proficiency. Job pertinent pre-interview tests will be administered Open until filled.
TEACHER (Head Start Center Based Preschool): $10.84 - $16.24/hr: 35-40hrs/wk.
Min 2 years recent paid successful work experience in a preschool age instructional capacity and ONE of the following: AS/AA in Child Dev or related OR CA Children’s Center Permit OR State Awarded CD Teacher Permit. (Those without AS/AA will be required after hire to enroll in coursework toward completion of related Associate degree. Those holding only an AS/AA will be required to apply for a state awarded Teacher Permit or higher within 30 days of hire.)
HOME BASED TEACHER: $12.07 - $17.58/hr: 40hrs/wk.
Minimum 2 years recent paid successful experience in a preschool age instructional capacity. High school grad or equiv and a minimum of 24 completed units in Early Childhood Education/CD. (Must include Child/Human Growth & Development and Child/Family & Community) Preferred: AS/AA in ECE/CD or California Children's Center Permit or State Awarded CD Teacher permit or higher. Fluent bilingual English Spanish skills required. (Those holding less than an AS/AA or Teacher Permit will be required after hire to obtain either as a condition of employment.)

Please note: Most positions are year round except for Head Start teaching staff, cooks, and bus drivers who usually work Sept-May/June and in some cases year round, depending on the center. Initial wage/salary placement is within the range advertised for each position and based on each individual’s related experience, skills and education. All positions require possession of an auto with appropriate insurance coverage and valid CA Driver License (unless indicated otherwise on job description).
